I can't believe I listened to all 20someodd minutes of the 4 settings. Guess they were pretty good! :)

i only listened to the langlais and the messiaen so far. I've never heard the Prelude/Tiento at that tempo (usually about double the tempo) but I kind of like them at that slower tempo actually. The Dieu parmi nous is pretty on fire! Those tough couterpoint passages (you know the ones) were really good, and rhythmic too... I thought it was great musicianship all 'round. Who made the instrument?

My teacher practically ordered me to play them at that tempo. I was initially playing at about double that. I actually like them slower.

Instrument was originally Aeolian-Skinner, built sometime in the 20s. It was greatly expanded and redone by Moller in '92. So it's somewhat a mix between Skinner and Moller.

The Langlais and Messiaen turned out the best...the other pieces I'm not very satisfied with. Probably should have left the Bach off the program - not enough time spent on it.
